classroom & community

As an educator, I'm constantly looking for ways to inspire students and build on their artistic experiences inside and outside of the classroom.  My students participate in regional and national art competitions, Art Club, and volunteer out in the community.

Visual Design students follow a rubric during the first week of class to complete an apple drawing in graphite, and then again after instruction with me at the 5 week mark.  I do this quarterly with 8 groups a year to show my ability as an educator and student growth for evaluations.
